Introducing The Ten Co-Founder - Amy Hahn

We are so pleased to introduce you to The Ten's co-founder, Amy Hahn! Take it away, Amy!

Describe yourself in three words. 

Passionate, organised and loving. 

What is your life outside of The Ten? 

A lot of running. That is, running around after my two year old son and running a marketing agency ... However not a lot of actual running (yuck). Mixed in to that beautiful, busy life is treasured family time at the park, as much yoga as my body will allow, and cooking and eating far too often. 

Who makes up your family? 

My gorgeous husband and best friend Scott, and our energetic, adorable, hilarious and far-too-lovable two-year-old son, Isaac.

What is your favourite part of being a mother? 

Simply having the pleasure of getting to know this amazing little person. Every day Isaac surprises me with something or makes me laugh. It's cliched (so cliched) but this love really is the most amazing thing in the world.  

What are your top motherhood essentials? 

Coffee, a support network made up of whoever makes you a better, more sane and balanced family (be it family, friends or childcare - whoever you can call upon), Nutella, a little bit of alone time every now and then, and coffee. (Did I mention that one already?)

What’s the best advice anyone has given you about motherhood? 

That every child is different. So don't compare your child, or judge yourself (or anyone else, for that matter), as no one's experience is ever the same. 

What is your favourite prenatal workout? 

Yoga and Barre Body - both are gentle and make you feel amazing from the inside out. 

What is your favourite thing about being pregnant? 

As well as those gorgeous little kicks, simply the excuse to indulge in whatever your body craves. Full day in PJs? Tub of gelato? Requests for daily neck massages? You're pregnant - you're allowed. 

Pregnancy cravings?

Funnily enough, I shared the same pregnancy craving as Mel - sparkling water! So much so that for my first Mother's Day, my gift was a vintage poster for Perrier. 

What is your least favourite thing about pregnancy? 

Being so very hot!  

Top product picks for a newborn? 

A brilliant pram (we adored our Bugaboo Cameleon3), Milk bath products and lots and lots of cuddles (not a product but much better than any product).

What do you love most about The Ten?

The super classic designs that are effortless and elegant, and the soft, luxurious fabrics. I also love that they can really be paired with anything. 

Favourite The Ten product?

I really do love our classic The Ally in grey. Full length in winter, and 3/4 in Summer.
